I-600 Filed!!!!!

We have been waiting on this little piece for about 5 weeks now. We have learned that our I-600 will be filed in VN today and we should receive and e-mail in about two weeks acknowledging they have received it and then the clock begins. Does the clock really mean anything?.....not in Dong Nai! It normally means 60 working days or less we would have Nathan's approval from the US to travel and then we would get People's Committee approval from VN to travel. I am still asking for clarification on what is next and what to expect. Moving forward is never a bad thing.

Great news! The I600's are taking around 45 working days on average so there's still a possibility of travel before the end of the year!! Holiday travel sure would be awesome :)

Hang tight! We have the little count up on the ice box with Sophie's magnetic numbers :-). We are on business day 26. Rough to say the least but hey you all on are in Guam :-)......we are setting in for Fall which is nice, gives us more to do. Praying DN moves along faster for you all!

It was so nice to talk to you yesterday Valorie! Your Nathan is a handsome little guy. I look forward to following along on your adoption journey.

Yeah! It took a week from the time Holt told us it was submitted until we received confirmation that USCIS had it. The wait for prelim I600 approval was the shortest wait of the process. But, I am praying you will not have to wait as long. Also praying we will get to see Nathan next week! We'd love to be able to send pictures back to you!

This is one step closer. I know it is tough to wait but when they are in your arms to time disapears. Praying for a speedy approval!

Praying that your I-600 approval is on the shorter side!! We, too, are a bit uncertain right now about traveling before the end of the year to get Adria--aka Sandwich. : ) There sometimes seems to be absolutely no rhyme or reason.
