President's Day

This is our crazy girl. This is what she looked like on our way down to the beach. Her outfit included wireless headphones and snorkel, she was only missing her mask!
We stopped at the girls' new favorite BBQ stand for lunch. Christy has made an appearance with us for the weekend (she stayed with the girls when I went to Saipan with Dave)

For President's Day, we went to the beach. This is a beach I have not been to yet. Dave has been there for his dive certification. What a great family day. My kids will fight me each time we suggest going, but after we get out there they are fine. Miranda is now willing to snorkel.

We have a little video of Miranda snorkeling. Thanks to Dave, we have a video camera now! I received this as a gift for Valentine's Day. I am still trying to figure out how to get the video edited and here. I'm too tired right now.

We are preparing to be in Vietnam and a video camera is a must. I have been playing with it so that I know how to use it. I have been cooking meals and putting them in the freezer for the girls and their "babysitters" while we are gone. I hope to be packing some of Nathan's suitcase and gifts for the government officials this week as well. I want to be ready when we get a call to head to Vietnam!

OMGness, it feels like you're so close to travel call. No matter how prepared you think you'll be when you get that travel call, you'll suddenly have a million more things to do, LOL! Great job preping all the food already though. that will be a huge help. Hoping you hear some great news in the next week or 2 :)

It looks like you guys had a really good time on the beach. How fun! -- You are on top of things! I am so excited that you are so close to travel. We'll continue to pray that this last approval is completed in record time so that you are with Nathan very soon!

Love,
Annette
